kde-window-manager-active software package provides K window manager (KWinActive), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-window-manager-active
kde-window-manager-active is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-window-manager-active package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-window-manager-active *
You will get with kde-window-manager-active package name, version, architecture and description in a table
